We may at times feel the frustration of not being compliant on a site or being delayed due to safety file not being correct, or simply being told that we need to have a safety file. Why is this so important? And how can we ensure compliance when doing our work?

A safety file is a documented body of evidence that provides a convincing and valid argument that a system is adequately safe for a given application in a given environment. In other words, it’s the proof of your duties being fulfilled as per the Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) Act and regulations.
