Call for submissions to help Cape Town’s water crisis

The city of Cape Town issued a request on Monday 19 June 2017 for Information (RFI) on how the City can improve its water resilience by utilising reverse osmosis filtration or similar technologies to produce high quality potable water. The information obtained from this RFI will be used by the City as a basis for further discussion and possible developments.

IAPMO acquires National Standard Plumbing Code

 

The International Association of Plumbing & Mechanical Officials (IAPMO) and the Plumbing-Heating-Cooling Contractors (PHCC)—National Association executed an agreement as from 1 June 2017 transferring ownership of the National Standard Plumbing Code (NSPC) to IAPMO. The transfer encompasses all editions of the NSPC, including the 2018 edition.
