It is with great sadness that Plumbing Africa has just heard of the passing of Vollie Brink.

Vollie’s passion for his work as a Civil Engineer; his contribution to SABS technical committees, SAICE and IOPSA; and no doubt many other bodies and individuals; was incredible. His lectures – especially for young engineers – through SAICE and his regular articles in Plumbing Africa were highly valued and provided an engineering perspective to the plumbing industry.
Knowing Vollie, he would have continued working until the last.
Industry will struggle to find another generous, kind, considerate and willing person.
Rest in peace Vollie, you deserve it.
Plumbing Africa will present an industry obituary once we have obtained inputs from various industry leaders.
