The Electrolux Kwikot Transition arrived in Durban and was met with great success.
Plumbing Africa chatted with Steven Humphrey, KZN Manager and the assistant manager Mandy.
KZN is a large area to cover and with a staff complement of 43 in all aspects of the business, they are kept busy.
Stephen and Mandy are confident that the transition has generally been accepted and over the next few months will intensify their effort in encouraging the benefits of this model that places two giants working together for the benefit of the plumbing sector.
As we mentioned after the Johannesburg event, we were not publishing the Managing Director’s detailed speech in order not to ‘pull the carpet’ from under Durban and Cape Town events but we chatted around the excellent relationships the KZN team has with their clients and whilst some may question the move, they are equally not against it as will be revealed in the full text to be published in July issue.
The one word that came out strongly in the discussion was TRUST which is a two-way street and KZN enjoys the Electrolux Kwikot relationship with their client base.
Darren Maule from East Coast Radio was the Master of Ceremonies and certainly kept proceedings going at a good pace.
Attendance saw all the main plumbing folk with Murray Crow Managing Director of Electrolux setting the scene.
A stunning dance routine took place and look carefully at the blue ribbon which crafts a superb ‘E’ in the movements. plumbing events are usually rowdy, politely so, but one could hear a pin drop during this dance movement.
The collage below shows the who’s who in industry that were present as well as the new packaging of the geyser.
