The KAIIA range – logo pictured below – does not hold JASWIC acceptance, but has been claiming they do on their products. A letter was sent by JASWIC on 24 October 2025; however no response has been received from the company. Plumbing Africa has attempted to contact the three numbers available on their website – the landline is non-existent, and the other two numbers are answered in a foreign language.

TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN
MISREPRESENTATION OF JASWIC ACCEPTANCE – KAIIA RANGE
It has come to our attention that your company is claiming that the Kaiia range of products is JASWIC Accepted (refer to the attached photograph taken of the product packaging). This range is not currently listed as JASWIC Accepted and a JASWIC certificate of acceptance has not been issued.
You are therefore required to immediately cease all claims or representations implying JASWIC Acceptance of the Kaiia range, or any other ranges which are not currently listed on the JASWIC Acceptancy list. This includes, but is not limited to, all stationery, advertising and promotional materials, sales brochures, product displays, websites, contract documents, and any other media or communication where such claims are made. Failure to comply may result in further action being taken in accordance with JASWIC procedures.
Please confirm in writing, within 14 (fourteen) days, that all such references have been removed and that no further misleading representations of JASWIC Acceptance will be made.
