The PIRB has issued a reminder for plumbers to re-register so that their membership doesn’t become inactive. Inactive-licenced plumbers will not be able to obtain or issue PIRB certificates of compliance.

Late registration could result in penalty fees being charged. Late renewals can also result in extra admin and costs.

Renewal is quite easy. Simply make your way to the PIRB website and download the renewal form. Click here [insert link: Registration – PIRB LMS] to go to their registration page.

PIRB is recognised as a professional body by the South African Qualifications Authority (SAQA). Their goal is to enhance plumbing practices by offering a comprehensive registration system for plumbers, monitoring and encouraging their performance. They also focus on safeguarding the health and safety of the community and environment by promoting the integrity of water supply and wastewater systems.
