The training of 108 Building Control Officers was completed in the morning, and exhibitors were invited to display their goods for the day. This was then followed by the regular regional meeting chaired by Patrick Gordon. The event was held at the same venue in Tulisa Park in Alberton and was well-attended.

Delegates were warned about the ‘donkey’ geyser, which seems to be making a comeback. Certainly not fit for domestic, commercial or industrial use, plumbers should not get involved with this equipment, as it does not hold any standards and has no way of controlling temperature. It is applicable in rural areas and farms that are away from any buildings.

We present a selection of photos of exhibitors present.
