PIRB’s Champions 4 Charity 2024

Plumbing Industry Registration Board (PIRB) hosted their 5th annual al Champions 4 Charity white-collar boxing event on 3 August 2024.

The evening saw six boxing matches between 12 boxers (10 amateur and two professional) take place with the ultimate winners emerging as the charities the event was held in aid of: Tools For Life and Breadline Africa.

Approximately 300 guests turned up to watch the action and enjoy live music performances while tucking into three-course meal. Comedian Themba Robin, who is an ambassador for one of the charities, joined the event as a speaker.

“The PIRB extends its thanks and gratitude to all the sponsors, contributors, attendees, and boxing participants. The event could not have been made possible without their involvement and support,” says Willem Klopper, PIRB’s Communications Manager.
