Several guests made their way all the way from Standerton to attend the exhibition. TVET students from OTT also wound their way through the stalls, learning about various products and services as they went.

Parents and students of future plumbers also attended in order to get a sense of what the industry could offer as a career.

Steve Brown (IOPSA) and Lea Smith (PIRB) engaged in a live podcast in the workshop and training area. The podcast was not just informative, but entertaining as they discussed the plumbing industry in general.

Herman Strauss provided an innovative talk on what was new in plumbing tech, and this was followed by an in-depth look at geyser components with Ariston’s Raymond Saayman. Finally, Brendan Reynolds and Duncan Keil from Rainharvesting took attendees through the value of rainwater harvesting and why it is a good idea to add to a plumber’s skillset.
