The Department of Water and Sanitation (DWS) have released their Raw Water Tariff Regulator Report for the 2024/25 cycle.

The DWS has release the Raw Water Tariff Regulator Report for the 2024/25 cycle. The national water regulator is responsible for assessment of, among other things:

  1. a) affordability of the service;
  2. b) water service providers’ customer responsiveness and quality of the service;
  3. c) the reliability and efficiency of the water services network;
  4. d) the quality and quantity of water provided;
  5. e) conservation and environmental imperatives; and
  6. f ) does comparison of past performance of water services provider

It also takes a look at the water infrastructure in the country, assessing its state of repair.
