Asking customers for their honest opinion yields fruit.

On 30 May, DAB Pumps did something extraordinary: they asked their customers to be honest about their thoughts on their product.

A group of roughly 20 wet services engineers and commercial plumbers gathered at the DAB Pumps offices in Olifantsfontein, Gauteng to express their views. And they were brutally honest.

While most of the comments made were favourable, the attendees did offer some suggestions on what they would like to see improved. Attendees also got a chance to see the DAB Pumps solutions in action with a lively demonstration of the product.

Customer satisfaction has been a focus for the company. They believe that interaction and dialogue with customers would help them to determine what works best for their clients. Guest speakers were invited to share their thoughts and triumphs on projects that they had completed where the company’s products were used successfully.

Speakers included Marnus Pretorius and Desmond Steynvaart who took guests through their Crestcare Malmesbury Hospital project, Frikkie Snyman who detailed his Denlyn Mall and Nkomo Mall projects as well as Corniel van Wijk and Walter Nel who spoke about their projects for Ocean Basket and JMP.

Trophies were handed out to Marnus Pretorius, Desmond Steynvaart, Frikkie Snyman, David Buirski, Corniel van Wijk and Walter Nel.

“We are different because we want to be in partnership with you. If you win projects we win too,” said Hein Botha, DAB Pumps general manager, addressing attendees.
