IOPSA members helped Laerskool Hermanstad out with some plumbing work on Mandela Day.

On 26 July, a little later than the usual Mandela Day, IOPSA members made their way to Pretoria to do some work on the plumbing and fixtures at Laerskool Hermanstad.
Around 20 IOPSA members and plumbers got stuck in for their 67 minutes (and more) of replacing toilet seats, fixing taps, sorting out water flow and pipes. Anything plumbing related that didn’t work was tackled and brought back into ship-shape.
Teachers and learners at the school were immensely grateful for the hard work that these plumbers put in over the course of the day, acknowledging that the work done made a huge difference to their school – and the learners who attend it.
