On 9 October 2025, IOPSA hosted their monthly plumber’s evening at Plumblink in Woodmead.

The Plumber’s evening commenced at 15:30 with a mini exhibition from suppliers. From 18:00, the evening’s talks started with an opening by Patrick Gordon, who reminded members to take advantage of, and use, all of the benefits offered to them as IOPSA members. Being a member and not using these benefits is similar to owning a Ferrari without keys, said Patrick.
Chris Coetzee also spoke at the event about the benefits offered to members through OHSS Consulting and introduced the launch of IOPSA’s new mental health programme called Friends in the Trades (FIT).
A lucky draw then took place, and selected members won gifts donated by the exhibitors of the evening.
