The breakfast opened with a warm-up and welcome session from Rendani Tshivhula, who welcomed the guests and (quite literally) had everyone shaking with excitement, as he announced the event’s guest speaker Chris Campbell.

Rendani started the guests’ morning by telling them to shake it out.
Chris Campbell, CEO of CESA delivered a powerful speech – reminding everyone of the importance of plumbers and their vital role in society, as well as the impact that collaboration between civil engineers and plumbers working together can achieve.

“We thank each and every one of our guests who is attending our breakfast this morning, as well as those who couldn’t make it. Although we are here to celebrate the magazine’s birthday, the fact is that every single person in this room has, in some way or another, contributed to the magazine; and for that we thank and celebrate you. We wouldn’t be here today, 30 years later, without your continued support, advice and contributions. ![]() Sean Macnamara, director IMD, and publishing unit lead of Plumbing Africa. “I would also like to thank the Plumbing Africa team who work tirelessly behind the scenes to make the visions of the magazine and PTE possible. I would like to ask them to stand. ![]() The Plumbing Africa and PTE team. “We hope you enjoy our breakfast celebration. Thank you for the past 30 years, and here’s to looking forward to another 30 years of Plumbing Africa.” |
Guests were then ushered to the breakfast buffet, where breakfast was served.
