Plumbing’s Travelling Exhibitions (PTE) has announced their dates for 2026 – with three not-to-be-missed shows planned.

What you gain from visiting your nearest PTE show
Water is the most precious resource we have, and only when it is gone, will we understand the full impact of its loss.
At a 2022 symposium by the Department of Water and Sanitation, it was revealed that the current water loss faced by South Africa is around 47% – caused by municipalities, commercial losses and physical losses. This water loss is simply not sustainable.
Some of this 47% is also caused by ageing infrastructure, and unqualified or unsupervised people doing plumbing work (both maintenance and construction), which needs to be addressed with urgency.
This urgency is further emphasised with the increase in building and construction in certain areas due to the government’s integrated housing policy – where the attention paid to water and waste becomes even more essential. With populations increasing and urban areas growing, correct and proper water and waste design and installation are vital to reduce risk to the population, so the compulsory water and plumbing standards become vital.
This is where PTE comes into play. No matter your job description, if you are involved in design or installation of water systems in any way, PTE plays a vital role in bringing the newest technology to your doorstep.
As a visitor, you are able to engage with manufacturers and suppliers, allowing you to see, feel and touch the latest in plumbing, water and waste technology. Similarly, the relaxed outdoor atmosphere makes for comfortable discussions and engagement between suppliers and visitors.
Interaction within the industry is further increased through live demonstrations of products and workshops focused on certain areas of plumbing to ensure visitors leave the exhibitions with more knowledge than they walked in with.
